APPLICATION PROCESS

ONLINE APPLICATION THROUGH EMGS

New applications can be submitted through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) at https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/. Applicants have the option to complete the online application through the university or individually. Applicants are required to pay the EMGS processing fee; the amount will be according to the EMGS invoice after online registration is complete. The EMGS processing fee must be paid directly to the EMGS account.

OFFER LETTER/ CONDITIONAL OFFER LETTER

Upon meeting the program entry requirements, students will be given the Offer Letter (OL) or Conditional Offer Letter (COL) for the offered program.

VISA APPROVAL LETTER (eVAL)

The eVAL process takes approximately 6 weeks after the EMGS processing fee is paid by the applicant. If the application is rejected by EMGS, please note that the processing fee is non-refundable. Once eVAL approval is received, students are required to pay tuition fees, registration fees, and other fees to the university bank account.

PRE ARRIVAL PROCESS

Apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV) before traveling to Malaysia from the Embassy of Malaysia in your own country (if necessary). For Airport Pickup, please inform UCYP of your arrival details at least one week before the arrival date and provide a copy of your flight ticket.

IMMIGRATION CLEARANCE

The International Student Office staff will assist you with immigration clearance at the airport. Please note that you will not be able to clear without the presence of an International Office representative from the university.

POST ARRIVAL PROCESS

Students must register at the UCYP International Office, located at the university's main campus. Students need to submit the passport to the International Office for a student pass application from the state immigration office.

Registration at the main campus will be arranged by the UCYP International Office after students have completed the registration and visa process.

All students must undergo Medical Health Screening at EMGS panel clinics within 7 days upon arrival in Malaysia. The report will be released within 3-4 days and students must be in good health. Students who fail the post-arrival medical examination are required to return to their home country immediately.

After registration at the main campus, all students need to attend the orientation program.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

International students must attend classes regularly. Absences exceeding three (3) days must be supported by a medical certificate.

To be eligible for student pass renewal, students must maintain a minimum of 80% class attendance for all registered subjects and uphold a satisfactory CGPA.

Students planning to leave the state or country for holidays or other reasons must notify the International Office and provide a valid contact number or address for emergency purposes.

Any changes to permanent or current address, contact number, or passport details must be reported to the university immediately.

Students are personally responsible for monitoring the validity and expiry dates of both their passport and student pass.
